Staff Recommendations 8/24 - 8/30

Will Quigley: Banana Split Creme Oreos and the bonus disc from Radiohead's In Rainbows (and In Rainbows as a whole)

Scott Rothman: Joy Division - Horribly depressing in the most beautiful way possible. Ian Curtis has a very unique voice and creates a haunting tone and morbid atmosphere. For fans of The Cure and The Smiths.

Pete Bridge: State Radio - This anti-war group is jammin' with their reggae style with the lead singer from Dispatch leading the way.

Matt Egbert: The Gaslight Anthem - This band refined their raw punk sound into an anthemic Asbury Park epic on their concept homage to a bygone era on their brand new release The '59 Sound.

Melanie Losover: Teenage Cool Kids; an extremely catchy and awesome pop-punkish four piece. I haven't been listening to them for very long but man, I can't get enough. TCC's blend of punk undertones with catchy pop beats gives something for everyone to enjoy.

Chris Lehberger: Dredg

Christine Dang: Grab a cup of coffee in the morning, get in your car, and put on Arrah and the Ferns for a great indie folk start.
